Dear Friends, Supporters and Benefactors of St Patrick’s Parish,
I wish to thank you for your ongoing support of the new church building project for St Patrick’s Parish, Wildfield. Thanks to your generosity and sacrifices, I am extremely pleased to announce that on Sunday 24 May 2026, we will begin!
Thanks to wonderful people like you, we have raised several million dollars, and we now stand ready to begin.
I invite you to join us for this blessing and celebration.
Together with His Excellency Bishop Camilleri, Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, Caledon Mayor Annette Groves, Peel Region Commissioner Nando Iannicca, municipal and regional Councilors and local dignitaries, as well as our terrific parishioners, we will gather for Mass in the current Church at 1:00 p.m., followed by a procession to the site of the new church (150 Martin Byrne Drive) for the Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony, and return to St Patrick’s Park for barbecue, live music, games and celebration.
DETAILS:
When: Sunday 24 May 2026, 1:00 p.m. at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (11873 The Gore Road, Brampton, ON. L6P 0B2).
Where: On the site of the new church located on the corner of Martin Byrne Drive and Mayfield Road in Brampton; weather permitting, there will be a 15 min procession from the current church to the site (in case of inclement weather, people may wish to drive).

Our Lord fed a multitude with only five loaves and two fish (Mt 14:17-19). Inspired by this, with God’s help and your support, our new church building will help us feed our growing community’s hunger for the Gospel.
